Your Opportunity

As Social Media and Community Manager, you'll own Scandit's social strategy end-to-end, defining how the world experiences our brand across social channels. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you'll translate our enterprise technology story into engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences - from technical developers to C-suite executives across retail, logistics, airlines and other sectors. You'll bring a creative yet data-driven mindset with strong storytelling capabilities. You'll join a highly collaborative Marketing Team with real influence across the organization. What You Will Do

  • Social Media Strategy & Channel Management
    • Own, execute, and report on Scandit's organic social strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms
    • Create and publish high-quality content - video, visuals, carousels, surveys - optimized for each platform
    • Manage LinkedIn Newsletter and articles to extend thought leadership reach
    • Leverage AI tools and LLMs to enhance efficiency, creativity, and content quality across all social activities while retaining originality
  • Executive & SME Thought Leadership
    • Partner with company subject matter experts and executives to develop custom thought leadership content via their own social profiles
    • Plan ideation sessions and create multi-format posts that position our leaders as industry voices
    • Manage approval process, publishing schedule, and performance tracking
  • Employee Advocacy Program Leadership
    • Lead and scale Scandit's employee advocacy program using Oktopost, driving adoption, participation and engagement
    • Manage platform administration, content creation, supplier relationships, user communications, and reporting
  • Community Building & Engagement
    • Design and execute engagement strategies across forums (Reddit, G2, industry communities)
    • Build relationships with customers, influencers, and product users to drive authentic engagement
    • Foster advocacy through user reviews and active community participation
  • Measurement & Optimization
    • Continuous measurement across all social channels that demonstrates business outcomes from engagement to pipeline contribution
    • Track key metrics (engagement, reach, CTR, brand sentiment) and translate data into insights
    • Test and optimize continuously to refine strategy and demonstrate ROI
  • Collaboration & Cross-Function Support
    • As part of the Marketing Communications Team, you'll work closely across the Marketing Team (Content, Field, Paid Media, Digital, Events) and cross-functionally with other Teams (Product, People, Workplace) to align social activity with broader marketing campaigns and business activities.
    • Contribute ideas to video, brand, and campaign projects that integrate social channels effectively

Who we look for

  • 5+ years B2B social media experience, ideally within enterprise software, SaaS, or similar technology sectors
  • Degree-level education in Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record scaling social channels from strategy to execution with measurable brand impact
  • Executive collaboration experience: Skilled at working with senior leaders on social thought leadership and providing expert guidance personal profile activity
  • Deep LinkedIn expertise and strong working knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms. Naturally curious about platform evolution - when algorithms change, you're the first to know
  • Exceptional storytelling and copywriting with sharp visual and video instincts
  • Data fluency: Navigate analytics, drive optimization, and connect social activity to business results
  • Multi-format content creation: Comfortable producing video, graphics, carousels, and interactive elements
  • Employee advocacy experience: Oktopost or equivalent platform knowledge preferred
  • AI-powered workflow: Proven experience using AI tools, LLMs, and automation to drive efficiency, enhance creativity, and optimize social processes
  • Strategic executor: Set direction and roll up your sleeves to make things happen
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Hockeystack, Canva or similar platforms preferred
  • Supplier management experience (designers, video editors, agencies)
  • Native/fluent English speaker
