We're seeking a Customer Success Engineer to join our US team and support a portfolio of key enterprise accounts. This is a more technical Customer Success role than most. You’ll be the technical partner customers’ engineers rely on: building demos, sharing code to unblock integrations and guiding implementation, while owning adoption, renewal and growth. This is not an account management or sales role.

Travel and Location Setup

  • Travel: c.20% on average, sometimes at short notice, usually 1 to 3 day trips to customer sites and Scandit events.
  • Timezone requirements: Central or Eastern time zone. You'll work US business hours, with overlap with our European colleagues in the morning.
  • Working arrangements: If you are near Boston, you can work from our office 2 to 3 days a week; alternatively, this position can be done remotely if you are not near our Boston office.

What You Will Do

  • Own a portfolio of key US enterprise accounts and drive adoption, retention, and growth.
  • Become a deep expert in Scandit's products and SDKs, and guide customers through technical decisions.
  • Lead discovery conversations and translate customer needs into feasible Scandit solutions.
  • Build tailored demos and share code snippets and small integrations to unblock customers.
  • Run workshops, adoption reviews, and QBRs with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Spot at-risk accounts early and expansion opportunities, and partner with Sales to act on them.
  • Be the voice of the customer inside Scandit, working with Product, Engineering, and Support.
  • Use AI tooling (Claude Code, etc.) to speed up customer-facing technical work.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years in a customer-facing technical pre-sales, post-sales or support role at a B2B software company e.g. Customer Success Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, etc.
  • A solid technical foundation and coding experience in any language: you have written or debugged code, scripts or integrations, ideally using SDKs or APIs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and you can present to both business and technical audiences and explain a technical problem clearly and concisely.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • A solid understanding of enterprise IT architectures.
  • You build strong relationships with customers and colleagues, and you are likeable, humble and fun to work with.
  • You learn quickly and act on feedback and coaching.

Nice to Have

  • Strong discovery skills: translating customer requirements into feasible technical solutions.
  • A track record running workshops, adoption reviews or QBRs.
  • Experience working with Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing.
  • Background as a software engineer, mobile developer, solutions engineer or solutions consultant.
  • Mobile development experience (iOS, Android, React Native or Flutter).
  • Industry experience in retail, transport and logistics, computer vision, or mobile data capture.
  • Salesforce and a CS platform such as Planhat or Gainsight.
  • Comfort using AI development tools such as Claude Code.

How We Hire

  • A 30 to 45 minute call with our Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • A 30 to 45 minute conversation with the hiring manager.
  • A 1-hour technical interview with a member of the team (no preparation needed).
  • A 1-hour panel presentation of a case study, sent at least 5 days before.

What We Offer

  • Certified as a Great Place To Work for four years in a row.
  • Rated 4/5 by our employees on Glassdoor.
  • Access to Claude Cowork and Claude Code, plus a budget to experiment with other AI tools.
  • Weekly “How to Use AI” sessions and internal AI Champions to help turn your ideas into reality.
  • A share in our success through an individual equity plan.
  • Office shutdown days, global team events and innovation hackathons.
  • Your birthday off and much more.
  • Plus specific benefits depending on the location you are joining.
