Are you a retail leader who thrives on delivering exceptional customer experience and driving business results? As our new Assistant General Manager, you will support store operations, develop high-performing teams, and help grow one of our world-class brands. You will work closely with the General Manager and retail associates to achieve commercial objectives while maintaining outstanding service standards.
What your day will look like:
- Drive store performance by supporting sales, profit, and business development goals.
- Coach, develop, and hold retail team members accountable for customer service, merchandising, and product knowledge standards.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, labor management, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor store systems and facilities to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Track progress against store objectives and collaborate with the General Manager on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support bar operations and provide hands-on customer engagement throughout the store when required.
What you'll bring:
- Minimum 2 years of management experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze data, manage priorities, and coordinate store operations effectively.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and team motivation skills.
- Knowledge of cigars or the cigar industry is an advantage but not required.
