As our new Assistant General Manager, you will play an important role in supporting store operations, developing talent, and driving commercial results. You will work closely with the General Manager and retail associates to achieve business objectives while maintaining outstanding customer service standards. What your day will look like

In this role, you will typically focus on:

  • Drive store performance by supporting sales, profit, and business development goals.
  • Coach, develop, and hold retail team members accountable for customer service, merchandising, and product knowledge standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, labor management, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor store systems and facilities to ensure safe and effective operation.
  • Track progress against store objectives and collaborate with the General Manager on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support bar operations and provide hands-on customer engagement throughout the store when required.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze data, manage priorities, and coordinate store operations effectively.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and team motivation skills.
  • Knowledge of cigars or the cigar industry is an advantage but not required.

Annual Base Salary: $60,000-$65,000/yr
