About The Role
The Trade & Channel Manager will lead the development of marketing strategies focused on international markets. In this role, you will drive marketing initiatives and strategies across global trade regions, multiple markets and channels, ensuring brand performance and supporting our ambitious growth targets. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build effective marketing plans, portfolio & pricing strategies and bring our product portfolio to life in this unique and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies & plans tailored to the international regions across multiple markets and channels to drive category performance
- Optimizing sales strategies across various distribution channels (retail, wholesale, e-commerce, resellers).
- Manage partner relationships, analyze sales data to improve performance, implement trade marketing initiatives, and ensure channel profitability.
- Implement proactive portfolio & pricing strategies for handmade cigar based on market trends, gap analysis, and innovation opportunities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, sales ops management, and global brand management teams, to ensure cohesive strategy execution
- Implement promotional activities for new and existing products to capture consumer interest and drive growth
- Analyzing market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for brand growth and portfolio & pricing optimization within the border trade segment
- Monitoring and reporting on brand performance and brand metrics, using data-driven insights to refine and improve future strategies
- Building relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and external agencies
Qualifications
- 7+ years of proven experience in sales, channel management, or trade marketing, within a consumer goods environment, with experience in Asian, European, and other markets or similar channels preferred.
- Proficiency in portfolio, pricing & activation management, market analysis, and budget management.
- Strong understanding of international markets and consumer behavior across multiple geographies
- Proven track record in implementing and driving successful trade initiatives across diverse market and channels.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Degree Marketing, Business, or a related field; proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage
