What you will be getting involved in:
We are looking for a commercially curious and analytically strong FP&A Analyst to partner with our operational and sales/marketing teams, challenge assumptions, and help shape better day-to-day decisions. This role focuses on understanding what is happening in the business right now — translating operational activity into financial outcomes, identifying emerging risks and opportunities early, and helping teams take action to improve performance. You will work closely with department leaders and the FP&A Lead, not just to report performance, but to build a deep understanding of the drivers behind it. Over time, we expect you to move beyond analysis into influence — asking sharper questions, proactively identifying issues, and helping shape the commercial narrative before results hit the P&L. This is a role for someone who wants to accelerate quickly — developing strong commercial judgment, building robust models, and earning trust as a reliable partner to the business.
Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:
- Supporting the monthly forecast and annual planning process
- Building and maintaining financial models in Excel
- Analysing revenue, margin, and cost performance
- Preparing variance analysis for Exec and Board reporting
- Supporting scenario modelling for new initiatives
- Helping track KPI performance across the business
- Working closely with Commercial, Operations, and Product teams to understand drivers
- Supporting cash forecasting and working capital analysis
- Improving reporting automation and dashboarding
- Ensuring financial data integrity and consistency
You will be expected to move beyond reporting and develop strong commercial instincts. The top 5 things we want you to achieve in your first year are:
- Own a clean, reliable monthly reporting cycle
- Deliver timely, accurate variance analysis with clear insight — not just commentary.
- Become fluent in our revenue and margin drivers
- Understand how the business actually makes money.
- Improve forecast accuracy within your scope
- Reduce errors by identifying gaps in structural drivers.
- Build at least two models that materially improve decision-making (Examples: margin sensitivity, cohort analysis, headcount ROI).
- Operate independently on defined deliverables
We should not need to rework your analysis before it reaches leadership.
What you might bring to the table:
- 1–3 years' experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or consulting
- Strong Excel modelling skills (comfort with large datasets)
- Commercial curiosity — you ask "why?"
- Comfort working with ambiguity
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to summarise complex analysis clearly
- Accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) in progress or completed is a plus
More important than experience:
- Intellectual honesty
- Ownership mentality
- Desire to grow into a Senior Analyst role
Benefits:
We go beyond the basics with our benefits package. Here's what you can expect from us:
- £65,000 - £75,000 annual salary
- Statutory pension
- Healthcare plan
- All the equipment needed for you to do your role effectively
- Flexible working
- Remote or hybrid working options
- Personal Development budgets
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Wellness budget to spend via a partner platform
- Access to talking therapy
- Inclusive policies designed by our team, for our team
