The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 € per year.

Qualifications: A minimum level 3, NNEB, CACHE, NVQ, or recognised equivalent Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Educator qualification.

We are looking for someone to:

  • Assist the manager in taking responsibility for the day to day running of the pre-school and out of hour’s school club, inclusive of staff and children.
  • In the absence of the manager you will assume full responsibility.
  • Liaise closely with parents/carers, informing them about SCAMPS and its curriculum, exchanging information about children’s progress and encourage parents’ involvement.
  • Work with the manager in liaising with the management committee, Ofsted services and other professionals as necessary and ensure that all legal and statutory requirements are implemented. This will include providing reports as required e.g. sessional day care provision and out of hours clubs.
  • Assist the manager in implementing performance management systems and ensuring that they are in place and followed e.g. induction, probation, supervision, team meetings, appraisals (6 monthly), staff DBS and objective setting.

This position is for 27.5 hours per week with two 7.30am starts and 6pm finishes to cover our breakfast and after-school club.
