Your Role:
Based directly at our clientβs site, a world-renowned aerospace supplier, your role will be to improve supply chain logistics performance.
Your key tasks include:
- Processing orders and forecasts.
- Monitoring logistics performance: developing action plans, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and analyzing workload/capacity.
- Tracking work-in-progress: supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD).
- Coordinating with purchasing, quality, and engineering teams.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure all planning and logistics operations comply with aerospace-specific standards (e.g., AS9102, ISO 9001).
- Conduct risk assessments related to scheduling delays, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address unforeseen operational challenges.
What We Are Looking For:
- Engineering degree or master's in logistics or supply chain management.
- First experience in logistics, preferably in the industrial sector (aerospace, automotive, railway).
- Knowledge of Air Supply and quality methodologies (VSM, SCMH audit, 8D/QRQC) is appreciated.
- Fluency in English and frequent travel.
- Open to 3-4 days onsite a week, in Belfast or Prestwick (Scotland).
- Open to travel to other sites in the UK.
