Responsible for:

  • Performing technical requirement development, coming from reference and applicable documents from Metiers, Standards, Certification, Safety, Platform and Customer, then the developed requirements allocation to the various subsystems.
  • Defining the Train System architecture, operational capabilities and performance.
  • Ensuring consistency and compatibility between all the sub-systems.
  • Writing sub-system specification (RSL2, TPS) and, if needed, sub-system architecture description (ADL2) according to train level system architecture.
  • Driving technical relationships with suppliers with close management of QCD commitments (CbC), risks & validation (including Design Reviews with suppliers).
  • Ensuring coordination between TxE / PU / Metiers on interfaces, performances, technical issues resolution during detailed design phase.

Verification & Validation responsibilities:

  • Defining and performing the train-level verification strategy with engineering, validation, and certification teams.
  • Verifying system requirements and architecture design, including modelling and simulation activities.
  • Preparing train-level test specifications.
  • Ensuring system integration, tuning, and supporting static and dynamic test execution.
  • Contributing to certification and homologation activities when applicable.
