This role would suit someone with a strong administrative background who enjoys bringing structure, organisation and attention to detail to a busy environment. Whilst previous Health & Safety experience would be beneficial, it is not essential. What's more important is a positive attitude, strong organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.

Whether you're an experienced administrator seeking a new challenge or a graduate looking to gain exposure to a specialist field, you'll be supported by an experienced team and given the opportunity to grow your knowledge and responsibilities over time.
The Role
As Health & Safety Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of the Health & Safety function across the business. You'll help ensure documentation, records, communications and compliance activities are managed efficiently and accurately. You'll work closely with operational teams, project teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders to ensure information is gathered, maintained and distributed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety team.
- Assist with the preparation, management and distribution of Health & Safety documentation.
- Coordinate and maintain records relating to Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), training, certifications and compliance documentation.
- Support the administration of employee inductions, training records and competency tracking.
- Maintain accurate databases, trackers and document control systems.
- Liaise with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors to gather required compliance information.
- Monitor document expiry dates and assist with ensuring records remain current and compliant.
- Support the preparation of reports, audits and compliance reviews.
- Assist with internal communications relating to Health & Safety initiatives and updates.
- Ensure all records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination or support role.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communicator with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Previous experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering or a compliance-focused environment.
- Exposure to Health & Safety, Quality or Compliance administration.
- Relevant qualification or interest in Health & Safety.
- Recent graduate looking to develop a career within Health & Safety, Compliance or Operations.
