A leading fire engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed fire strategies, fire safety reports and technical assessments
  • Provide guidance on ADB, BS 9991, BS 9999, and UK fire safety regulations
  • Liaise directly with architects, contractors, design teams and approval bodies
  • Manage project delivery from concept through to completion
  • Mentor junior fire engineers and support wider team development
  • Ensure compliance, accuracy and high-quality technical output on all projects

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ fire engineering consultancy experience
  • Strong background in fire strategy development and code compliance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Confident overseeing own workload and managing project deadlines

Desirable Skills

  • Membership or working towards membership of the IFE (MIFireE / FIFireE)
  • Experience with high-rise, façade remediation, or performance-based fire design
  • Familiarity with fire modelling or evacuation modelling software (advantageous)
