We're partnering with a well-established Irish contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality commercial construction, fit-out and refurbishment projects. With a growing portfolio of secured work across Ireland.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit commercial team where you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered successfully from a commercial perspective. Whether you're an experienced Quantity Surveyor or an established Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while progressing your career within a growing business.
The Opportunity
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll manage the commercial aspects of projects from tender through to final account, working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and clients.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing project costs from pre-construction through to final account.
- Preparing cost plans, budgets and commercial reports.
- Procuring subcontractors and negotiating subcontract agreements.
- Managing subcontractor accounts, valuations and payments.
- Preparing interim valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Monitoring project performance, forecasting costs and identifying commercial risks.
- Working closely with project delivery teams to maximise project profitability.
- Attending site and client meetings across projects in Armagh and Dublin.
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
- Ensuring projects are delivered commercially, on budget and in line with contractual requirements.
About You
You'll be a commercially minded professional who enjoys working collaboratively while taking ownership of project financial performance.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction, fit-out or refurbishment.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, valuations, variations and final accounts.
- Experience managing subcontractor procurement and commercial negotiations.
- Excellent commercial awareness and financial reporting skills.
- The ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised approach with excellent attention to detail.
- A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- A full UK or Irish driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites in Dublin as required.
