Scalers HQ are working in partnership with a growing FinTech partner in the UK and we are looking for a Senior Frontend React Engineer to join them on a contractual basis.
The role:
You’ll be working closely with product managers, designers and engineers across teams to create a world-class user experience for our customers. You'll be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of our partners checkout user interface and user experience (UI/UX).
Responsibilities
- Work on critical frontend applications used by a global network of sellers
- Develop greenfield products and enhance our existing front-end architecture
- Collaborate closely and pair with product designers
- Provide engineering advice for team issues, and be involved in wider technical decisions that positively impact the department and company
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API specifications and integration
- Improve the seller & customer experience in gradual, frequent iterations
Experience required
- Have strong technical skills with: React, TypeScript, CSS, React TestingLibrary/Vitest, Playwright.
- Implemented performant, responsive front-end applications in agile Product teams.
- Have substantial experience working closely with product designers during discovery and implementation phases of projects.
- Have a strong understanding of the development process from design through to deployment and maintenance and what that means for day-to-day development.
- Have worked with AWS & Terraform or other cloud services & infrastructure-as-code
