Fully Remote, Outside IR35 Senior CI/CD Software Engineer - GitHub Actions / TypeScript. We are supporting a major global cloud transformation programme and are looking for a highly specialised CI/CD Platform Engineer to help shape enterprise-scale developer tooling and delivery automation.
This is not a traditional DevOps role. The team owns CI/CD and engineering enablement for a large-scale global platform environment and is responsible for defining how engineering teams build, test, secure and deploy software at scale.
- Designing and building enterprise-grade CI/CD platforms using GitHub Actions
- Developing custom GitHub Actions in TypeScript
- Creating reusable workflows and standardised deployment patterns across multiple engineering teams
- Building internal developer tooling and self-service engineering capabilities
- Working closely with cloud/platform engineering teams across AWS and GCP environments
- Helping shape engineering standards, governance and automation strategy globally
Strong hands-on experience building CI/CD platforms from scratch at enterprise scale. Strong TypeScript and Node.js engineering background. Strong understanding of platform engineering and developer enablement. Experience working in large-scale cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure). The client is specifically looking for engineers who have owned and designed enterprise CI/CD capability, not engineers who have simply used pipelines as part of application development.
