You'll be joining a small, collaborative UK team backed by a fast-moving global organisation.
The Opportunity
Due to exceptional business growth and an expanding portfolio of Grocery and High Street retail partners, our client is seeking a Junior National Account Manager to support the management of key retail relationships. You will work closely with and report directly to the existing National Account Manager who leads these channels. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious commercial professional looking to step into a national account role within a dynamic, entrepreneurial brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of Grocery & High Street national accounts, ensuring delivery of joint business plans and performance targets.
- Act as a day-to-day point of contact for retailer counterparts, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
- Assist in preparing and presenting account plans, business reviews, and performance updates.
- Monitor and analyse sales data, promotional activity, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Work cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of retailer activity.
- Support the implementation of NPD launches, promotional plans, and category initiatives.
- Contribute to forecasting, reporting, and internal performance tracking.
- Attend retailer head office meetings and trade events as required.
About You
- Experience in an FMCG commercial role, such as National Account Executive, Sales Support Executive, Commercial Executive, or similar.
- Exposure to Grocery channel preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and develop.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with numbers and data sets.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- A passion for Sport/Fitness is essential for this role.
