KEY RESPONSIBILITIES As a Principal Cloud Consultant at Scale Factory, youll: Own delivery management for a number of workstreams, helping to define and prioritise work, manage risks and provide guidance to junior colleagues. Drive continuous improvement both within your workstreams and across the wider delivery function WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR Were seeking a talented, passionate Principal Cloud Consultant to join our growing team. To be successful, youll be both technically excellent and a confident communicator, willing to own all aspects of a project from pre-sales, into discovery, design and implementation, as well as the delivery management thereof. KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Eligibility for Security Clearance. Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders from C-suite down, both off the cuff and in more formal presentations or report writing. Business Savvy: Able to look behind the technical problems and understand the business drivers to change, prioritising accordingly and building consensus. A proven track record of spearheading successful projects, aligning multiple workstreams and managing client relationships. DevOps Mastery: Deep understanding of DevOps principles and how they transform businesses. AWS Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and ability to articulate best practices for building secure, scalable platforms. CI/CD Pro: Proven experience with tools like GitHub, GitLab, or AWS DevOps Tooling, and expertise in deployment automation/orchestration. Networking Knowledge: Expert with networking concepts and how they translate to cloud environments: Virtual Networks, routing, DNS, Gateways, Load Balancers and more. Understanding of key AWS security services such as IAM, WAF, and KMS. Experience implementing best practices for securing data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Scripting & Automation: Skills in a scripting language like Python, Ansible, Bash, Groovy, Powershell, or similar.
