You will be joining a highly ambitious studio environment delivering major aviation projects across Europe and internationally, working alongside a blended team of architects and interior designers on complex passenger environments and transport-led schemes. This role sits at the forefront of the studio’s continued European growth and requires someone capable of leading design conversations across multiple live projects simultaneously. You will be overseeing design teams, guiding project direction from concept onwards, and working closely with senior leadership to ensure projects maintain both technical rigour and strong architectural clarity throughout. Job Description
- Leading design across complex aviation and transport projects from concept through developed design stage
- Overseeing and mentoring multidisciplinary design teams, predominantly architecture-focused with integrated interiors collaboration
- Managing multiple live projects simultaneously, balancing design quality, team leadership and project priorities
- Working closely with project leadership and senior stakeholders to drive coherent project narratives and strong design outcomes
- Supporting presentations, workshops and client-facing design discussions
- Guiding teams through complex spatial, operational and passenger-experience driven design challenges
- Maintaining oversight of design quality across project outputs, reviews and coordination processes
Key Skills
- Strong architectural background with demonstrable experience leading complex large-scale projects
- Proven experience overseeing design teams within aviation, transport, infrastructure or other highly complex sectors
- Excellent front-end design capability and strong conceptual thinking
- Experience managing multiple projects and design workstreams simultaneously
- Strong communication and leadership skills
