A global architecture and design practice is looking for a BIM Coordinator to join its London studio, working directly within its established Commercial Interiors team.

You would be supporting the delivery of high-quality commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects for major UK and international clients, taking ownership of day-to-day BIM coordination and helping project teams deliver efficiently within Revit.

This role sits directly within the interiors team, so you would be closely embedded with designers and project leaders rather than operating solely as part of a central BIM function.

You would, however, have the support of the practice's wider BIM team and BIM Manager, providing access to established standards, expertise and ongoing professional development.

Job Description

  • Provide day-to-day BIM coordination across commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
  • Work directly alongside interior designers, architects and project leaders as an embedded member of the Commercial Interiors team
  • Set up, manage and maintain Revit models throughout the project lifecycle
  • Coordinate project information and models across internal teams, consultants and external disciplines
  • Monitor model health, quality and compliance with practice BIM standards
  • Support the development and implementation of project-specific BIM workflows and standards
  • Undertake model audits, clash detection and coordination reviews, identifying and resolving issues with project teams
  • Ensure models and drawing packages are structured accurately and efficiently for project delivery
  • Support teams with Revit troubleshooting and provide practical solutions to modelling and coordination challenges
  • Help maintain consistency across project documentation, families, templates and model information
  • Work closely with the practice's BIM Manager and wider BIM team to implement best practice and maintain consistent digital standards
  • Share knowledge with project teams and help develop BIM capability within the Commercial Interiors team
  • Support the adoption of improved digital workflows and technologies where appropriate
  • Key Skills
  • Strong professional experience working as a BIM Coordinator or in a BIM-focused architectural/interiors position
  • Advanced Revit proficiency is essential
  • Proven experience delivering commercial workplace fit-out and refurbishment projects
  • Strong understanding of how BIM is applied to interior architecture, fit-out and refurbishment rather than solely new-build architecture
  • Experience setting up, coordinating and maintaining complex Revit models
  • Good understanding of BIM standards, model management, quality assurance and information management
  • Experience coordinating architectural/interiors models with multidisciplinary consultants
  • Strong understanding of drawing production and technical documentation
  • Ability to identify and resolve modelling and coordination issues efficiently
  • Comfortable working directly with designers and project teams in a fast-paced delivery environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain BIM processes to team members with varying levels of technical knowledge
  • Organised and able to support multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to share knowledge across the team
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Navisworks or similar coordination platforms would be advantageous

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing commercial interiors team within a leading international design practice, working on complex workplace fit-out and refurbishment projects while becoming an integral part of their day-to-day delivery.

With the backing of an established BIM Manager and wider BIM team, you would have the autonomy to take ownership of BIM coordination within the interiors team while continuing to develop your technical expertise and influence how the team delivers projects digitally.
