This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced interiors professional to take on a leadership role within a growing workplace team, overseeing the delivery of complex commercial interiors projects. Working alongside a collaborative and highly creative team, you will lead projects from concept through to completion while supporting the continued growth and development of the studio.
Job Description
- Lead workplace interiors projects from concept design through to delivery
- Establish and manage project programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Develop fee structures and support project pursuits
- Manage client relationships, anticipating and responding to client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, supporting their development and performance
- Coordinate internal teams, external consultants and contractors to ensure cohesive project delivery
- Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, furniture and equipment
- Manage construction phase activities including RFIs, submittals and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and construction practices
- Lead presentations to clients and key stakeholders
- Support new business opportunities through professional networks and client relationships
- Maintain high standards of QA/QC across all project documentation
Key Skills
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Significant experience within commercial interiors, particularly workplace environments
- Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual design, space planning and detailing
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate project teams
- Excellent technical knowledge and strong understanding of construction and documentation processes
- Proficiency in Revit
- Experience managing consultants, contractors and multiple stakeholders
- Strong organisational, communication and presentation skills
- Experience managing project programmes, fees and client relationships
- Interest in sustainable design and innovative workplace solutions
