BIM Technician

Iconic design studio famed for crafting critically acclaimed mixed use and hospitality projects across the Middle East, US and the UK is on the lookout for an immediately available BIM Technician / Designer to join their team on an initial contract basis. This studio is considered to be a worldwide leader in design and are specialists in crafting geometrically complex projects. If successful, you would be joining the technical team within the studio, rationalising complex parametric designs into workable, technical designs. With this in mind, you must have a strong understanding of Revit, and have experience delivering technical packages from schematic through to DD stage on large-scale projects

Job Description

• Work within closely with the BIM design team to rationalise complex and parametric design projects
• Translate rhino models into technical production information using Revit
• Oversee the BIM model

Key Skills

• Part II qualified, MCIAT or equivalent
• Ideally you will have large-scale project experience within a UK based studio
• Experience taking projects from schematic through to DD stage is essential
• Experience working in a collaborative studio and team
• Revit proficiency and understanding of the interface between Revit & rhino is desirable
• Team player and strong communication skills
