Architect

Exciting design-led studio in the heart of buzzing South East London is on the lookout for an Architect to join their design-led practice. The studio currently has 12 live projects spanning all stages, from concept to construction, with a focus on beautifully crafted private homes, elegantly reimagined industrial spaces, and visionary resi-led masterplans. If you were to join the practice, you would join a small, tight-knit senior team, given both design and client responsibilities across well nurtured accounts, and be offered the support and space to make the role your own. This role requires an Architect with MicroStation 2D drafting ability as an essential skill, and ideally Rhino skills (although that is not essential)

Job Description

• Work closely with studio Director and Associate in crafting concept designs and iterations for mid scale mixed use, resi led projects
• Deliver DD to CD technical drawing packages & details for residential refurbishment and retrofit projects
• Assist in delivering planning permissions for a light-industrial retrofit project
• Manage client relationships on given projects, and liaise with subcontractors, engineers and stakeholders
• Take design ownership for given projects

Key Skills

• Part III ARB qualified
• Demonstrable experience working on private residential projects within the UK is ideal
• Experience working on design led projects across mid to larger scale projects in the UK is desirable
• Experience across all RIBA stages is highly desirable, with a strong focus on design intent
• MicroStation 2D drafting proficiency is essential
• Rhino 3D skills are desirable but not essential
