A globally recognised design studio known for delivering complex mixed-use, retail, hospitality and aviation projects is seeking an Architect or Senior Architect to join its aviation team in its buzzing Central London studio. You will be joining a mid-sized, specialist group led by some of the most experienced transport designers in the industry, working on high-profile aviation and infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally. The team is currently delivering a major UK aviation scheme, with a strong pipeline of future work across transport and large-scale mobility projects. You will be collaborating closely with senior leadership while taking ownership of project packages, helping drive both design quality and technical delivery within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Job Description
You will play a key role in the delivery of a high profile UK aviation projects, balancing design coordination, team leadership and hands-on involvement in project output.
- You will be supporting the delivery of a major UK aviation project, with involvement across design and technical stages.
- Overseeing and coordinating packages of work, ensuring quality, clarity and consistency.
- Managing and mentoring a small team of junior architects and Part IIs, supporting their development and output.
- Collaborating closely with a Design Director and senior team members to maintain design intent and project direction.
- Working within multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with consultants and stakeholders across complex project environments.
- Producing and reviewing Revit models and drawing packages, ensuring robust technical delivery.
- Contributing to project strategy and problem-solving across large-scale, technically demanding schemes.
Key Skills
- Qualified Architect with experience appropriate to Architect or Senior Architect level.
- Proven experience delivering complex, large-scale projects, ideally within transport, aviation or infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in Revit β essential.
- Experience working across design and delivery stages, with solid understanding of coordination and buildability.
- Ability to manage packages of work and support junior team members.
- Confident communicator, able to work effectively with internal teams and external consultants.
- Experience within multidisciplinary or internationally focused studios advantageous.
