SCA Care is looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Specialist Support Workers to join our dedicated team. Based in Southampton, our team provides support across Hampshire, including up to Winchester.

Please note: A full, valid, and clean UK driving licence with access to own vehicle is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

No two days are the same. Your duties may include:

  • Supporting with daily living tasks such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, and domestic duties
  • Assisting individuals to attend appointments, social activities, and community outings
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting individuals to pursue their interests and hobbies (e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, gaming, music, dancing)
  • Promoting positive behaviour and using de-escalation techniques when required
  • Supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex physical needs
  • Working confidently in environments where pets (such as dogs) may be present
