Social Care in Action is proud to support individuals across the Southampton community, helping them stay safe, well, and independent in their own homes. We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Female Live-In Carer to join our team.
About the Role
As a Live-In Carer, you will provide 24-hour support to our customers over a two-week period, living alongside them while they remain in their own home. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily living activities, including personal care, cooking, and household tasks
- Promoting mental stimulation and physical activity
- Ensuring privacy, dignity, and respect at all times
- Delivering person-centred care tailored to individual needs
- Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, and families
This role operates on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rota, with a rest period during the day at allocated times. While a driving license is not essential, it is advantageous.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, compassionate, and dedicated
- Passionate about making a difference in people's lives
- Experienced in health or social care roles (preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of the importance of rights, dignity, privacy, respect, and choice
Personality and values come first. Previous caring experience is a bonus, but if you have the right attitude and commitment to quality care, we would love to hear from you.
