Location: Winchester Service: Specialist Care
Shifts Available:
Full time - Weekdays (7am - 5pm)
Additional hours available on an overtime bank basis.
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Support Worker to join our Specialist Care team in Winchester. In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred care to a young adult with complex needs, supporting them to lead independent, fulfilling, and meaningful lives. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

About the Role
No two days are the same - your role will include:
Supporting with personal care and daily living tasks
Assisting with cooking, cleaning, and household duties
Supporting attendance at appointments and community activities
Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
Supporting hobbies and interests (e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, music, gaming, dancing)
Working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex care needs
Using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques
Working in environments where pets (including dogs) may be present
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
A female support worker
Experienced in supporting individuals with complex needs
Calm, resilient, and confident in challenging situations
Passionate about person-centred care
Supportive of independence and personal development
Willing to learn and develop professionally
Comfortable working in homes with pets
A full UK driving licence holder (essential)
