Location: Southampton

Salary: £6,609.20 per year + overtime available

Working Pattern: Monday & Friday, 08:30 - 11:00 and 14:30 - 17:00 (10 hours per week). Potential for additional hours.

The Role

We are seeking a dependable and caring Minibus Driver to join our community transport team. You will provide an essential service supporting individuals to travel safely to and from our Day Centre Hubs (with a Transport Escort present). This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a real difference in people's day-to-day lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive adapted minibuses safely, ensuring passenger comfort at all times
  • Assist passengers from their homes to the vehicle and back
  • Conduct daily safety checks and report any faults
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of the vehicle
  • Deliver excellent, friendly customer service
  • Report any health or wellbeing concerns regarding passengers

What We're Looking For

  • Full D1 or PCV driving licence (required)
  • Experience of driving larger vehicles
  • A caring, patient, and reliable approach
  • Confident communication skills
  • Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
  • Knowledge of Southampton and surrounding areas (preferred)

Additional requirements

  • Right to work in the UK (We are unable to offer CoS)
  • Candidates must live within the local area
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
