Social Care in Action (SCA Care) is a trusted, not-for-profit care provider supporting people to live independently and safely within our Extra Care Schemes. We are currently recruiting a Support Worker/Care Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team at Winfrid House in Totton. Whether you are experienced in care or looking to start a rewarding career in health and social care, we would love to hear from you. Full training is provided and guaranteed hours may be available.
Shift Patterns Available:
- Morning shifts: 07:00 - 14:00
- Evening shifts: 16:00 - 21:00
- Long day shifts (with a 1-hour break)
- Rota-based work with alternate weekend availability required
About the Role
As a Support Worker within our Extra Care Scheme, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals living in their own self-contained apartments. Your role will help people maintain independence, dignity, and choice while promoting wellbeing and community engagement.
