Supply Chain Analyst - Bishops Stortford, Herts - Up to £40,000 DOE
Are you experienced in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning?
Do you have experience in creating forecasts and translating them into purchasing or inventory plans?
We’re looking for a Supply Chain / Demand Planner or Analyst who thrives on analysing numbers, building accurate forecasts, and making insights count. You’ll work at the heart of the business, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Finance to deliver a world-class Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This is the perfect role for someone with 2–5 years’ experience in supply chain planning who wants to make a real impact.
What you’ll do:
- Analyse demand forecasts, adjust for trends, promotions, and historical fluctuations, and identify actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure future promotions and new product launches are reflected in forecasts.
- Raise forecasts and purchase orders for factories and external suppliers to keep operations running smoothly.
- Support Sales in resolving short-term supply challenges and stock allocation.
- Document assumptions and adjustments to continuously improve S&OP processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Astrategic thinker, confident communicator, and collaborative across teams.
- Advanced Excel, SAP or similar ERP, Reflex or similar planning software.
- 2–5 years in Supply Chain, Demand/Supply Planning, or Inventory Planning, ideally with a mix of manufactured and sourced products.
- Bachelor’s in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred.
- CIPS or APICS certification is beneficial but not essential.

Salary: £35,000–£40,000
