We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Transport Planner to join a globally successful manufacturing client! About the Role:

As Logistics & Transport Planner, you'll be at the heart of our client's operations — coordinating transport bookings, liaising with third-party carriers, tracking international shipments, and managing inbound warehouse logistics. As a transport planner, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods across their supply chain, particularly in the USA!

Day to Day:

  • Coordinate and book transport with customers, ensuring clear communication and delivery requirements.
  • Liaise with third-party carriers to manage shipment schedules.
  • Track international shipments and resolve any transit issues.
  • Oversee warehouse inbound logistics to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Analyse transport data to identify efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and transport partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
  • Support process improvements across logistics and supply chain functions.

Experience:

  • Proven leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, analysis).
  • Exceptional organisation, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and international freight operations.
  • Experience in FMCG or consumer goods environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with WMS and logistics project management.
