Are you a Merchandise Planner, Demand Planner, or Inventory Planner? Are you experienced in forecasting, stock planning, and trading performance? We’re working with a fast-growing, omni channel consumer brand entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation. As part of this, they are hiring an Inventory & Demand Planner; a role with clear progression.
This is not a traditional planning role. You’ll play a key part in shaping how planning operates across the business, working closely with senior stakeholders and having a direct impact on trading performance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning SKU-level demand forecasting, incorporating seasonality, promotions, and trading patterns
- Managing inventory and replenishment strategies to optimise availability and minimise excess stock
- Partnering with ecommerce, commercial, and operations teams to align stock decisions with trading plans
- Analysing performance, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations to improve sales and margins
- Supporting the evolution of planning processes, tools, and reporting
Experience:
We’re looking for someone with a blend of analytical capability and commercial thinking. Ideally from a retail, ecommerce, or consumer goods background.
You’ll likely be:
- A Merchandise Planner, Demand Planner, or Inventory Planner
- Experienced in forecasting, stock planning, and trading performance
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with commercial and operational teams
- Someone with strong progression in your career to date
- Ambitious and ready to step into leadership in the near future
- Experience in fast-paced environments (retail, ecommerce, FMCG) is highly desirable
