This is a build‐and‐scale role, not a "run the status quo" position. This role has a clear mandate: design, build, and lead a fit‐for‐growth logistics and distribution operation to support a global business.
We are partnering with a highly successful international consumer goods business that has scaled rapidly and is now reshaping its operations to support its next global growth phase. The business has moved beyond a UK‐centric, largely centralised model and is now building a scalable global distribution network spanning owned warehousing and strategic 3PL partnerships across Europe and the US, with future consideration for Asia.
The Role
Reporting directly to the COO, you will take ownership of all logistics and distribution activity across multiple regions and channels. This includes:
- Designing and implementing a multi‐region distribution network (UK, EU, US)
- Defining the role of owned warehouses vs 3PL partners
- Leading EU and US 3PL selection, onboarding and performance management
- Developing an inbound freight strategy from Asia
- Improving service, cost, inventory flow and visibility across regions
- Building structure, consistency and governance across operations
- Leading and developing regional logistics teams as the business scales
What We're Looking For
- Senior logistics or operations leadership experience in an international, fast‐growing business
- Proven experience designing and scaling distribution networks, not just managing a single territory
- Strong background working with 3PLs across Europe and/or the US
- Experience supporting ecommerce, B2B and wholesale channels
- Comfortable operating in change, ambiguity and growth
- Happy with international travel
