This full-time, on-site role is based in Denby Dale and focuses on designing and delivering accessible environments for people with disabilities. The role involves producing accurate drawings and technical details, preparing planning and building control submissions, and developing bespoke architectural solutions from concept to construction.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with clients, case managers, OTs, and other professionals
- Attending site visits and surveys
- Supporting contract administration and project delivery
- Liaising with contractors and consultants
- Monitoring progress against budgets and timelines
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant regulations, accessibility standards, and sustainability objectives
- Contributing to internal design reviews
- Maintaining clear project documentation

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with disabled clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Relevant architectural or architectural technology qualification; working toward or holding professional accreditation (e.g., RIBA/Ciat or equivalent) is advantageous
