Do you want more than just a Legal PA role? Not every Legal PA position changes someone's day — this one does, every single day. This role isn't for everyone. But if you have tenacity, a truly caring nature, and you're a genuine advocate for inclusivity, it might be exactly for you.
A rewarding and genuinely varied role at a well-regarded international law firm near Liverpool Street. We're looking for a dedicated Legal PA to provide true 1:1 support to an associate within the global regulatory team — someone who will be a real right-hand person in every sense of the phrase. The role has arisen because the current PA has secured an internal promotion to Executive Assistant — a lovely reflection of the firm's culture and the very real career development on offer here. There will be a thorough handover, so you won't be thrown in at the deep end. We're open to candidates at a range of levels — what matters far more than years of experience is personality, warmth, and the right approach.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Complex diary and inbox management, document production, and correspondence
- Legal research and general PA/EA duties
- Attending meetings alongside the associate and taking detailed notes
- Providing physical assistance to a wheelchair user — accompanying to meetings, assisting at lunch, and supporting with day-to-day mobility within the office
- Liaising sensitively with the associate's family on personal matters where relevant
- Integrating with a wider EA team of around 10 — joining team lunches, training, and activities
- Handling confidential information with total discretion
ABOUT YOU
- This is not a personal care role, but it does require someone with genuine warmth, patience, and resilience. You'll need to be comfortable providing physical assistance to a wheelchair user and confident enough to set appropriate boundaries when needed.
- Comfortable and confident supporting a wheelchair user day-to-day
- Strong Outlook, Word, and Excel skills are essential
- Legal, professional services, or PA/EA experience is helpful — but we're genuinely open to non-traditional backgrounds where the personality and aptitude are right
- Discreet, caring, calm under pressure, and emotionally intelligent
- A genuine advocate for inclusivity and accessibility in the workplace
- Willing to be a full, integrated member of the wider EA team
- Happy to be predominantly office-based (4–5 days, with potential 1 day WFH when the associate is away)
THE DETAIL
- Salary: Competitive — to be confirmed
- Location: Liverpool Street, London
- Hours: Full-time, primarily office-based
- Start: As soon as possible
- Note: A temp-to-perm route is possible for the right candidate
