A new opportunity has arisen to join an international law firm to support and manage their first class legal PA staff. You will be responsible for a super team that supports high profile fee earners!
You will be an experienced manager/team leader within administration/business support from a legal environment or professional services environment. Your day to day role will include:
- Liaising with partners, key business managers and other PA Services Managers, building strong relationships to ensure full and proactive business support is provided.
- Providing a nurturing and structured environment for PA talent.
- Dedicated to refining the PA support function, challenging the status quo where necessary.
- Undertaking skills enhancement of the team through monitoring and mentoring on an individual and team basis.
- Managing all performance reviews including appraisals consistently, leading meetings in accordance with the agreed process, ensuring development plans/training needs are identified and following up where needed.
- Utilising data reporting to support workflow strategy, performance management and training needs.
- Managing and monitoring holiday and sickness records for the team, escalating significant issues to HR.
This will be a highly collaborative role across the team but also peers and management to ensure the support service provided to fee earners is of the highest calibre and constantly evolving.
My client can offer a super working environment, stunning new offices and hybrid working of max 3 days per week. This is an initial 12 month contract to start in 2026 and ideal for a current team leader looking for progression or an experienced manager looking to make the move into an international law firm.
