We're on the hunt for a new Assistant Manager to work in our Bristo Pub. Located in the heart of Vauxhall, London, we serve comfort food, craft beers, fresh & fragrant cocktails, and warm, family-style hospitality. We are looking for a talented Assistant Manager with a passion for food and excitement for new adventures to start out in our pub. Previous pub experience, hands-on and strong leadership required. Our crew is creative, friendly, and innovative. We want your help to develop, maintain, and lead a cohesive team. If you have the personality, drive, commitment, and knowledge to work as part of a successful team and drive the business forward, we would love to hear from you.
Assistant Manager Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist in planning and executing operational strategies to meet organizational goals
- Supervise and support team members to ensure high performance and productivity
- Monitor daily activities and address any issues promptly to maintain smooth operations
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate projects and initiatives
- Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating staff
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively
- Be present on the floor; a manager must touch every single table
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a managerial role
- Table service experience
- Familiar with Microsoft
