About You

You’ll be a practical and hands-on individual with experience in general maintenance or a similar role. You’ll take pride in completing tasks to a high standard and will be confident in carrying out a range of maintenance duties, fault finding and using basic tools and equipment safely. You’ll enjoy working both independently and as part of a wider team, supporting the maintenance and presentation of our caravans, lodges and park areas to ensure they are safe, functional and guest-ready. You’ll be comfortable working across the park, both indoors and outdoors, and will have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues. As this is a guest-facing role at times, you’ll also be approachable, professional and represent Unity Holidays positively when interacting with Owners and Guests.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in a general maintenance or similar role
  • Ability to carry out a range of basic maintenance and repair tasks safely and effectively
  • Confident in using tools and completing basic fault finding tasks
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong awareness of health & safety and safe working practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • A team player who demonstrates kindness and collaboration

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance and repair work across caravans, lodges and park facilities
  • Complete a range of basic maintenance tasks including minor repairs, adjustments and upkeep
  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective, safe repairs in a timely manner
  • Ensure all areas are safe, functional and maintained to Unity Holidays' standards
  • Respond to reactive maintenance tasks and support planned maintenance activity
  • Conduct routine checks and identify maintenance issues proactively
  • Work across different areas of the park, both indoors and outdoors
  • Use tools, equipment and PPE safely and in line with training (all provided)
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Interact professionally with Owners and Guests when required
  • Report any major issues, hazards or recurring faults to the Maintenance leadership team
  • Follow all health & safety procedures, COSHH guidance and company policies at all times
  • Support wider teams where required to ensure smooth park operations

Hours of Work

This is a seasonal position running from February through to October. Flexibility is needed for weekends and bank holidays.
