Note: This role is not eligible for relocation. Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees.

Based in Frimley, UK, the role is responsible for delivering various types of projects (from new product development to cost savings and supply chain initiatives) with moderate-high complexity to ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-quality execution. This pivotal position manages multiple simultaneous projects, guides the team through end-to-end project phases, ensures stakeholder engagement, and aligns with business commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from Initiation through the Commercialization, Launch, and Post Launch Phases.
  • Develop timelines, key milestones, and risk/mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate activities of cross-functional team members to execute plans that will meet commitments and key deliverables.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedule to meet launch commitments defined in project scope.
  • Manage projects according to SCJ processes and best practices.
  • Assure all appropriate cross-functional subject matter experts are engaged to deliver key subprocesses and milestones required for the project, with focus on meeting cost of sales, capital, quality, and customer service metrics for the project (including first arrival date and case fill rates).
  • Track project progress against deliverables/milestones, issue status reports, and elevate breakdowns and issues as necessary.
  • Maintain project documentation (Project Management system, MS Project Timeline, StageGate Documents, Risk Register, Issue Log, OneNote, Close Out Report, etc.) as needed.
  • Manage communication plan internal to team and external to team (Stakeholders, Sponsors, and Executives).
  • Apply root cause analysis and problem-solving skills to identify the most critical factors that impact successful project implementation.
  • Draw on functional expertise to enable successful commercialization.
  • Demonstrate SCJ Success Drivers and establish a “Mindset to Win” Culture.
  • Apply in-depth functional knowledge to complete projects.

Experience You’ll Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline (or a Master’s with relevant experience), with a strong foundation in product development, supply chain or commercialization.
  • Proven experience in project management within CPG/FMCG environments, ideally spanning development, manufacturing, planning or distribution.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end product launch and commercialization processes, including new product development and contract manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across multiple levels, both internally and externally.
  • Solid project management capability, including planning, execution and delivery within complex, matrixed environments (PMI/APICS certification a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive structured outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, confident leading meetings and aligning stakeholders across regions.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset, with high levels of initiative, resilience and adaptability.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
