About The Digital Design Team Lead Role
Are you a visionary digital leader with a passion for design innovation? We’re looking for a Digital Design Team Lead to drive the strategic growth of their specialist area within our Global Design Centre of Excellence (COE). In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and mentor a talented team of Designers, shape a unified digital design identity across platforms; including web, eCommerce, social media, interactive assets, and video.
Responsibilities As Our Digital Design Team Lead
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Digital Services team, fostering creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Define and drive the digital design strategy, ensuring alignment with brand identity and overall business objectives.
- Oversee the creation of digital assets across websites, e-commerce platforms, social media, email campaigns, and video content, ensuring consistency and high quality.
- Manage resource allocation and workflow through Workzone, prioritising tasks based on business needs and deadlines.
- Champion user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) best practices, leading the ongoing evolution of the SC Johnson Professional website and content management system (CMS) modules.
- Stay current with digital trends and technologies to ensure the team’s output remains relevant, engaging, and effective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent the Digital Services function in key project meetings and creative sessions.
Experience you’ll bring as our Digital Design Team Lead:
- Experience working as a multi-skilled Designer in an in-house design team or agency.
- Leadership qualities and experience of people management and workload allocation responsibilities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience of collaborating with a diverse set of colleagues and clients.
