Role Overview: This role focuses on protecting consumers by ensuring pest control products are safe, compliant, and trusted worldwide. You will apply toxicology expertise to deliver robust safety assessments, navigate evolving regulations, and address emerging scientific risks that could shape the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Use regulatory guidance and novel approaches to assess human health risks of pest control products for global business categories.
  • Deliver product safety reviews for formulas, raw materials, and human testing in accordance with established procedures and meet timelines.
  • Monitor in vivo, in vitro, and/or human clinical studies in line with applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Develop higher-tier risk assessments for final product clearance.
  • Understand and communicate complex technical issues to internal and external stakeholders and prepare technical responses to regulatory authorities.
  • Lead the development of technical solutions for pest control products, including options to mitigate potential risks, and collaborate with R&D Project Teams.
  • Participate in trade associations and communicate relevant business items to safety, regulatory, R&D, marketing, and legal teams.
  • Identify opportunities to develop new processes or procedures to improve efficiency or harmonization.
  • Coach other team members in relevant technical or procedural approaches.

Experience You’ll Bring:

  • Advanced degree in toxicology or biological sciences with relevant industry experience.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of human health risk assessment and higher-tier refinement strategies.
  • Familiarity with international chemical and consumer product regulations (e.g., CPSC, EPA FIFRA, US FDA, EU BPR) and experience with global government authorities.
