Position Overview
You will lead, partner and coach (EMEA) regional community leaders on the strategic direction of SC Johnson to advance and build coalitions needed to strengthen the community and support the company's business needs, with an emphasis on our core strategic giving pillars. The role supports global, regional, and local initiatives through engagement of the company and leadership, direct charitable giving, and corporate and employee resources. You will also work with the Senior Director of Global Community Affairs to develop strategies. The position is based in the UK covering EMEA while the manager sits in the US. International relocation is not supported.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate all proposals for support within core giving pillars to determine suitability for corporate support.
- Assess the capacity and capability of the requesting organization to deliver the program or initiative.
- Determine the relative importance of the initiative to the community and its strategic fit within the company's framework.
- Oversee the formation of local employee engagement committees in the regions/business units where SC Johnson operates.
- Schedule and lead employee engagement committees in evaluating funding requests and making funding determinations.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and managing a cost‑effective corporate volunteer program that connects interested SC Johnson employees with volunteer opportunities.
- Represent the company at community events and, as appropriate, serve as the corporate representative at internal or external meetings or events.
Experience
- Previous relevant experience in corporate giving or communications, ideally within a corporate environment.
- Ability to create multi‑stakeholder partnerships with a wide variety of people.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong personal credibility in community‑building.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
