Job Summary: My client is seeking skilled engineers to join a team working on a maintenance manual module cause comparison project for a military gas turbine. The team will be working on behalf of an aero engine OEM, completing engine maintenance manual comparison tasks. The objective is to create a robust operating model, eventually achieving a run rate of 40 DMs (Data Modules) per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake engine maintenance manual comparison tasks, including analysis of the engine Common Source Database (CSDB) against the current Engine Repair Manual.
  • Create change requests for each target engine repair manual data module.
  • Analyse Common Source Database modules and the target engine repair manual.
  • Assess Data Modules identified in the “From - To Exchange” data provided.
  • Compare content of 560 Data Modules in the Common Source Database (from exchanges 790 to 925) with the content in Issue 16 of the Engine Repair Manual.
  • Identify and record the nature and detail of all changes.
  • Review the correlation between the data and populate a spreadsheet with proposed changes to the target Data Module.

  • Experience in working with military or aerospace engine systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in data analysis.
