We are currently working with an established engineering business who are looking to recruit a hands-on Electrician / Panel Wireman to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit an electrically biased individual who enjoys practical, workshop-based work, building and testing electrical panels.
The Role:
- Building and wiring control panels and MCC panels
- Electrical assembly to engineering drawings and schematics
- Testing and fault-finding of MCCs
- Working closely with the wider engineering and workshop teams
- Ensuring all work is completed to required quality and safety standards
The Ideal Candidate:
- Time-served or qualified Electrician / Panel Wireman
- Experience building and wiring control panels and MCCs
- Confident reading electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong hands-on electrical background
- Comfortable working in a workshop / manufacturing environment
What’s on Offer:
- Salary of £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
