Position: Stress Engineer

Location: Bristol (On-site) 4 days onsite considered

Rate: £45-50 per hour

Duration: 12-Month Contract

IR35 Status: Outside IR35

Working Hours: Flexible (Option to condense hours into a 4-day week)

Client Overview: A leading client of SC Engineering is seeking a skilled Stress Engineer to join their team for a 12-month contract in Bristol. This position is outside IR35, offering flexibility in working hours (with the option to condense your hours into a 4-day work week if preferred).

Role Overview: As a Stress Engineer, you will be working on-site, testing shock loads on switchboards using ANSYS.

Key Requirements:

  • Security Clearance (SC): This role requires SC clearance, so candidates must be British Nationals to be eligible.
  • ANSYS expertise.
  • SIMCENTER experience a bonus.
  • Strong experience in stress analysis and testing procedures, specifically on switchboards and shock loads.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bristol with the flexibility to condense hours into a 4-day work week.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in stress analysis within an engineering context.
  • Strong proficiency with ANSYS or SIMCENTER.
