Our client is looking for a Senior Bid Engineer to support a number of upcoming project tenders. This is an outside IR35 contract, initially for 3 months with strong potential for extension, working on a hybrid basis from client offices in Birmingham.
Operating under a new 2026 Group structure, this role will support technically complex, high-value bids and requires strong alignment with group-level commercial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and developing technical bid and tender submissions
- Contributing engineering and design input into proposals
- Working closely with commercial and estimating teams on pricing, risk, and value engineering
- Assisting with RFP, ITT, and tender responses from early-stage through submission
- Ensuring bid content aligns with group governance and commercial frameworks
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in bid, tender, or proposal support within themed entertainment and/or high-end technical construction
- Background as a Bid Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Technical Bid professional, or similar
- Strong commercial awareness, including cost build-ups and risk considerations
- Comfortable working autonomously in fast-paced, project-led environments
- Available to start at short notice
- Freelance / contract experience preferred
