We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Assembly & Test Technician to join a well-established engineering manufacturer in Great Gransden.
This is a factory-based role involving complete machine wiring, electrical testing and fault-finding on bespoke industrial machinery.
The Role
- Wire complete electrical systems across industrial machinery
- Connect sensors, motors, actuators and electrical interconnects
- Carry out functional testing and I/O checks
- Perform electrical fault-finding during machine build and test
- Read electrical schematics, layout drawings and BOMs
- Work with control devices, drives, sensors and motors
- Support machinery installations and electrical improvement projects
- Assist with general factory electrical work where required
What We're Looking For
- Experience in machine wiring or industrial electrical assembly
- Confident reading electrical drawings and wiring documentation
- Experience with control devices, sensors, motors and drives
- Understanding of DOL and VFD configurations
- Good electrical testing and fault-finding skills
- High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Electrical installation experience
