Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with demonstrable experience in gas turbine components and an aerospace background. The successful candidate will contribute to high-impact projects involving the design, analysis, and certification of advanced aero engine components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the design and modification of low pressure turbine components such as discs, airfoils, seals, and attachment parts.
- Contribute to advanced design programs including:
- Open-rotor gas turbines
- Compact high-pressure cores
- Hybrid-electric propulsion architectures
- Systems designed for alternative fuels and novel materials
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong hands-on experience with rotor and airfoil design within aerospace gas turbines.
- In-depth understanding of mechanical design principles applied in aerospace applications.
- Experience working in a regulated aerospace environment, ideally with exposure to certification processes.
