We are currently recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to support a major engineering programme based in Bristol. This is a 12-month contract opportunity operating on a hybrid basis and would suit someone with an engineering background who has experience supporting complex projects and working with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate engineering activities to support operational readiness
- Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and external stakeholders
- Monitor engineering issues and escalate potential risks where required
- Support the resolution of technical and project-related issues
- Provide project progress updates and technical information to senior stakeholders
- Coordinate activities across engineering, logistics, maintenance and supply chain teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across quality and reliability
- Ensure activities comply with relevant engineering and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of engineering issues, actions and decisions
- Support the wider project team with planning and delivery activities
Experience Required:
- Previous Project Management or Project Engineering experience
- Engineering qualification at HNC level or above
- Experience working within complex engineering environments
