We are working with a specialist automation and special purpose machinery company based in Leicester, who are looking to engage a Controls Engineer on an initial 6-month contract. This role is outside IR35 and requires strong experience in PLC programming and HMI development, working on systems such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Omron.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PLC programming from scratch and modifications for bespoke automation systems
  • HMI design and integration
  • System testing, debugging, and commissioning
  • Collaborating with mechanical and electrical design teams
  • Supporting on-site installation and commissioning as needed

Requirements:

  • Solid experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Omron PLCs
