We are currently seeking an experienced Control Panel Wireman to join our team on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 to 6 months. This role is based in Leicester, with immediate starts available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and wiring bespoke control panels from electrical schematics.
- Panel fitting, drilling, tapping, and layout of components.
- Working on special purpose machinery and automation equipment.
- Assisting with on-site installation and commissioning as required.
- Ensuring work is completed to high standards and within project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in control panel wiring and assembly.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with automation systems and special purpose machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Own tools and PPE.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically interesting projects in a well-established engineering environment. The role falls outside IR35 and pays £20 to £30 per hour, depending on experience.
