Contract Opportunity (Outside IR35) 🚨 I’m currently supporting a client looking for an experienced EC&I Engineer to join them on a 6-month contract.

Remote working with occasional travel for meetings (client office based in Chester).

£45–£60 per hour (DOE, negotiable) Outside IR35.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Design of LV electrical distribution systems, including backup power and changeover systems
  • Design and specification of MCCs, switchboards, and distribution boards
  • Electrical & Instrumentation design for process control systems
  • PLC panel design (Siemens S7 / PCS 7, Honeywell, Rockwell)
  • Production of full design documentation including GA’s, schematics, cable schedules, load lists, BOMs and more

Experience with LV soft starts, VSDs, and hazardous area standards (ATEX, IECEx, IS) would be advantageous.

This is a great opportunity to work on technically interesting projects within a flexible, remote setup.
